Day Nine:
SUNDAY
With 9 kids in the house on Easter morning, sleeping in to any decent morning hour is an impossibility. By 6, they were up and standing at the top of the stairs whispering about what kind of goodies waited below. In fact, one or two of them snuck down for a peek (shame shame!). We managed to hold the kids off until close to 7 and then we took them down stairs to their Easter bounty. I love that glowing wide eyed look that the kids get when they see their Easter basket for the first time. It's priceless. Later that afternoon, my mom and dad came over and we had a BBQ. It was delicious! We spent much of the day with the kids and my parents and enjoying our last full day in Arizona. The week went by much too fast but we had the best time.
